STORY
While streaming one day, Matt and his best friend Joey were discussing getting their feet wet in NFT projects. Having just completed some digital art for car NFTs, Matt was feeling emboldened and looked to start a project of his own. He had already been sketching a few frogs in goofy and meditative poses on stream, and decided to sketch out a rough draft for an avatar frog as a conceptual idea. Matt and the stream audience liked the first frog so much that he went on to make three or four different characters that day, becoming the first true Theta Frogs. Since that day, Matt has created well over a hundred different frog characters, drawing from historical figures and pop culture icons, cartoon characters and beloved heroes and heroines. He loves the silliness around the whole project, as well as the opportunity to bring joy to others through his frogs.

ABOUT
Matt is the one and only Frog Daddy of Theta Frogs. After a stint of time in the Air Force, he embarked upon his journey as a creator and streamer when he left his job at SpaceX in 2020. As he developed himself and strove to be the best version of himself every day, he began to translate his lessons to his budding community in order to help people grow, connect and vibrate higher together. The tipping point came when Matt almost accepted another aerospace job, but turned it down to instead focus on creating digital art, and what would ultimately become Theta Frogs. Matt is also a Reiki master and life coach, singer and guitarist, and aspiring chef. He believes in using streaming as a way to help connect people and share creative passions, and to grow together as one family from around the world. With Just Weird TV, Matt brings his own unique perspectives across a variety of content including art and music, video games, cooking and yoga. With Theta Frogs, Matt hopes to give something to the community that's not only collectible, but goofy art that reflects his personality and that people can laugh about and enjoy for years to come, because frogs are super cool.
